  I never liked Imus but he shouldn't have been fired for his remarks. His firing should have been for apologizing. It's become the thing to do these days. Say something offensive to anyone just so you can come back and apologize to a bigger audience.
  
  edit--- Hell, before long you'll have news conferences for people apologizing for things they've not yet done and then another news conference to apologize for the premature apology.

  I chose my name because I figure it's something you can all relate to. (God knows none of you could ever relate to me in any other way! Or maybe it's vice-versa?)

  I tried to find a closeup pic of of a hand about to knock on a door but couldn't find a suitable one and then ran across the "Jesus out in field service" pic. I see he forgot his bookbag though. (and I wonder if Jesus would get dinged for going overtime in the ministry school?)

  i am highly considering becoming a jehovah's witness.

  i have been raised in the congregration, but left it when i was a child because my mom left too, but we still retatined the core belifs including the ressurection and the blasphemous pagan influence on mainstream churches.

  my mom has recently returned to the congregation, and it has helped her a lot.

  Why can't I love Jehovah my own way?

  You can. But not as a Jehovah's Witness. If you want to join their club you have to play by their rules. If you don't play by their rules they'll kick you out and color you dead. But, not to worry, you can always come back here with your updated story to tell.

  BTW, I learned a new word today. Troll I think it was.

  aol, alta vista, lycos. Now Great Googley Moogley. Searching was a bit pricey back then @ 3.95 per hour at 2400 BAUD!! And instant messages were NOT instant.

  Perhaps someone might help me out here. Was there one of the sing alongs with the lyric - meek and mild is the witness child - or was that merely a general slogan tossed about at young lads to help emasculate them? I say it was in a jw song, my brother says he doesn't think so. Who's correct?
  
  I cannot remember ever once attempting to sing along. I don't sing - although neither do they! But ALL those depressing songs. Sheesh! Anyone here that says they actually liked any of the songs must surely mean that relative to all the really horrible ones.
